On July 15, UMMC captain Anastasiia Shilova led a basketball clinic for the Miss Yekaterinburg 2026 contestants. Held at UMMC Arena, the session introduced the participants to the fundamentals of basketball as they learned basic skills and experienced the importance of teamwork.   

During the clinic, the contestants practiced ball-handling, passing, and shooting drills while getting a taste of the training environment of one of Russia’s top women’s basketball clubs. The session offered more than just a sporting experience, showing that mutual support, discipline, and team spirit are key to success both on and off the court.

After the workout, Shilova praised the participants for their enthusiasm and willingness to try a new sport.

The Miss Yekaterinburg 2026 final will take place on August 1 on the main stage in the city center and will be one of the highlight events of the annual City Day celebrations.
