Sverdlovsk Region came out at full speed, built a commanding lead and cruised to an 82–62 win over Moscow in their third group-stage game at the Spartakiad of the Strongest. The victory sends Dmitrii Donskov’s team through to the quarterfinals, where they will face Orenburg Region. The game is scheduled for September 25 at 7:00 p.m.

The Yekaterinburg team set the tone from the opening minutes, while Moscow struggled to keep pace. By the middle of the quarter, Donskov’s team had stretched the lead to 13, and the visitors began to fall behind. The hosts led 23–12 after the opening period.

Moscow responded with a more composed performance in the second quarter, but the home team remained firmly in control. Sverdlovsk Region kept their opponents at a safe distance and continued to widen the gap. Maria Klyundikova once again spearheaded the home team’s offense, reaching 15 points by halftime. Levchenko then added three-pointers, sending the margin beyond 20. Moscow still refused to let the game slip away, but Sverdlovsk Region headed into the locker room with a commanding 44–28 advantage.

The game followed much the same pattern after the break. The home team continued to control the pace with confidence, with their advantage hovering around 20 points for much of the quarter. Moscow, however, had no intention of giving up. Alexander Diratsuyan’s team picked up the intensity, attacked the basket more aggressively and gradually cut the deficit. Sverdlovsk Region took a comfortable 61–46 lead into the final quarter.

The final 10 minutes could have brought some drama, but Yekaterinburg never let Moscow back into the game. Sverdlovsk Region executed well on both ends and made every possession count, never allowing the Red-and-Whites to mount a serious comeback. The final buzzer sounded with an 82–62 scoreline, sending Dmitrii Donskov’s team into the playoffs with a convincing victory.
