In their second home game of the Russian Premier League, UMMC cruised to a 97–54 win over Dynamo Novosibirsk. The Foxes built a commanding lead in the first quarter, while Maria Klyundikova recorded another double-double, matching her performance from the previous game.

Quarter scores: 22–5, 29–18, 18–20, 28–11

The home team came out strong, opening the game with an 11–0 run that included two three-pointers and forced Dynamo head coach Viktor Danilov to call an early timeout. However, the break did little to slow the Foxes’ offensive surge. Dmitrii Donskov’s squad continued to put pressure on their opponents, allowing Dynamo to score just five points in this period. The reigning champions closed out the first quarter ahead 22–5.

Sazonova drained a three-pointer to start the second quarter, but the Blue and Whites responded with a long-range shot by Magzhanova. The visitors’ brief response failed to change the momentum, as UMMC’s lead reached 20 points early on. Maria Klyundikova dominated in the paint, finishing plays confidently and giving the opposing defense plenty of trouble. Late in the first half, the teams traded three-pointers, with UMMC knocking down two from beyond the arc to take a 51–23 lead into halftime.

After the break, Zhosselina Maiga took over offensively, continuing to add to the home team’s tally. Still, the third quarter was Dynamo’s best of the game, as the visitors stepped up their offense. Their leading scorer, Magzhanova, hit a three before leaving the game with an injury. Klyundikova and Podkorytova also traded three-pointers, but even winning the quarter was not enough to make the contest competitive again. UMMC still held a comfortable 69–43 advantage heading into the final 10 minutes.

The fourth quarter quickly put the game beyond doubt. Sazonova, Tretyakova and Shilova kept connecting from long range, as the home team regained their rhythm and left Dynamo with no chance of mounting a comeback. The visitors fought for every possession, looking for steals and refusing to give up, but UMMC had built up too much momentum to be stopped. Yekaterinburg won the final quarter 28–11, falling just three points short of the 100-point mark at 97–54. The win extended the Foxes’ strong run at home. Their next game is scheduled for October 20, when they host Samara at DIVS Arena. Tip-off is at 7 p.m.

UMMC: Klyundikova (19 points, 11 rebounds), Papova (13 points), Shilova and Tretyakova (12 points each).

Dynamo Novosibirsk: Magzhanova (14 points).
